Hello

“Ashwild Healing Arts & Wellness was born from my own journey of healing and self-discovery. I have lived with chronic pain and complex health challenges, which at times left me feeling disconnected from my body and struggling to find relief. Traditional approaches often failed to address the full picture, and I knew there had to be another way.”

My Story

I'm Niks, and I know what it's like when your body won't let you rest. I'm glad you've found your way here.

I've lived with chronic illness and a nervous system that's been stuck in survival mode for years. I know what it means to feel disconnected from your own body, to try everything and still not find relief, to be exhausted but unable to settle.

Ashwild was born from my own search for practices that actually worked—not to cure me or erase what I carry, but to give me tools to live with it differently.

What changed for me:

Not traditional healthcare. Not another pill or program promising to fix me. Somatic movement. Breathwork. Progressive muscle relaxation. Nervous system regulation.

These practices didn't heal me. They gave me capacity. They taught my body it was allowed to rest. They showed me I could work with my nervous system instead of fighting it.

I'm still chronically ill. I still have hard days. But I have tools now. I have practices that help. And I wanted to share them.

My approach:

I'm a somatic movement facilitator and nervous system regulation practitioner. I work with somatic movement, breathwork, and guided relaxation—trauma-informed, body-first practices for people whose nervous systems are stuck in overdrive.

This isn't about fixing you. It's about giving you tools. Teaching you practices. Walking beside you as you learn what helps your body settle.

I can't promise healing. I can't prevent chronic conditions or permanent damage. I can't alleviate years of suffering.

But I can teach you the practices that helped me. I can create space where your body gets to rest. I can offer nervous system education so you understand what's happening in your body and why these practices work.

What I believe:

We live in a world that asks us to override our bodies' signals. To push through. To ignore exhaustion, pain, dysregulation.

Healthcare systems are overstretched. We're bombarded with conflicting advice. We're told to "just relax" when our nervous systems are stuck in survival mode.

But when we learn to listen to our bodies—really listen—we can build capacity. We can develop practices that help. We can't fix everything, but we can learn what helps us settle.

That's what I offer: practices, tools, and space.

My Vow to you:

I will meet you with presence, not promises.

I will honor your story without trying to fix it.

I will see your body as a place of wisdom, not a problem to solve.

I will create space where rest is possible, where limits are respected, and where you can arrive exactly as you are.

I will keep learning, unlearning, and listening.

I will move slowly, gently, and with care.

I will teach you practices that helped me, knowing they might help you differently—or not at all.

I can't heal you. But I can walk beside you while you find what works.

You don't need to be more or less of anything to begin.

You just need to arrive as you are.
